Hey, all is not lost. We are going to get us a bonafide All Time Panther rushing leader tonight, that will make this season all worthwhile. An accomplishment totally worthwhile by Kendren Young, to do it in the fewest games (38) played by a rushing leader from Lufkin. No playoff games. Congratulations, you did it the hard way.

I don't like losers, especially when they make excuses for it, or pass the buck as the fault of someone else. That's what we have here now, and worse, have some that are not good at their job, and don't care at the same time. School Board just allowing them to hang around and be losers.

From what I gather the board is split on it lol. But I only hear things. I know absolutely nothing. I agree with you though, I’ll remember these things when it comes time to vote

And that goes for anyone married looking to relocate from the city. Plus coaching in small town like Lufkin comes with its own unique politics. Not sure I would want to coach here and have to deal with family and old friends in my ear about their kids. Some people think you owe them something, just because they grew up with you. I want a new staff in place ASAP! But even I know Lufkin could be a hard sell. The outdated facility and being way out here in deep ETX doesn't do us any favors. 

Not sure about Dixon. Think he has had enough with this area. I don't think he would want to come back. But you never know.

I believe his wife is a graduate of and/or works/worked for Longview ISD. My daughter had a VB tourney there couple years ago and I met her. Idk if she’s still at Longview or not. PN may know. But yeah, he knows the baggage Lufkin will come with so who knows if he’d even want this headache lol 

Does anyone still talk to Ralph. Would he even take the job here if the call came?

True. I mean, Ralph and staff has definitely made a difference there. I’m just not a Dixon fan, his secondaries were trash here, and his team in Crockett was trash. The kids at yates may just respond to him real well idk. PN played with dixon and still says forget him lol.. I’m all for Lufkin hiring Ralph, he just needs to leave Alton behind

Lufkin would be 8-0 with that schedule lol let’s not pretend like they are good. Yates will get blasted in the playoffs. Only team Yates has played with a pulse is Carter and they got blasted 65-0. C’mon.

I've known many of the guys who have left here, and some talk freely about the screwed up mechanism that exist here.  If it were just one or two???, but when it's more than half of them? Some couldn't get the ------ out of Dodge fast enough. Holman was one of them. Thomas, Fancher, Dixon and Jamie Bridges too, who has done well as OLC at Katy Paetow. The big two or three never allowed anyone to upset their applecart, and you see where we are today. There's that thinking of superiority that exist over ex-players that coach with those who coached them.

Most teams do improve during the season. If you take a look, the only programs that seem to get worse or make no progress are the bad ones. Insert Lufkin. 

Lancaster is gonna kick Lufkins a$$. They are starting to roll and a lot will be on the line for them that night. We are done, as we always are with this staff. We’re gonna have to bank on being in a “weaker” district in order to make the playoffs. What a mind set 🙄

As I've  already stated, this program is screwed as long as they are here as coaches. 

T J hasn't been anywhere consistent all year, no one on the same page.  Start Johnson the rest of the year, has to be better.

You just can't hardly make this crap up, the ways they find to lose games.

With a good QB, we could’ve been better offensively. But yeah. With this staff, it ultimately wouldn’t matter lol
