I would’ve went for 2. To go up 8. That would make them to go for the TD . If we’re up 7, they could kick a FG and lose the game but still be in the playoffs.

Longview fans warned us about the clock operators, refs, etc. The clock is running a few seconds off even when we go out of bounds. Ridiculous. It was Good to see Booker out there playing. Defense looks good. Lancaster is talented and they are gonna get theirs. Can’t hold’Em down forever but the kids are busting their a$$.

100%. It’s everywhere now days. Parents are the main reason why. People are too busy being friends with their kids rather than being their parent.  

Win or lose tonight, it’s been fun to watch Kedren young play football the last 3 years. Wish that young man and all of the other seniors the best in life moving forward. Can’t wait to see what Kedren does in college.

And most of Lancaster bench cleared and ran over to Lufkin side to join in. Took the coaches and refs a a minute to settled everyone down. Those guys were jawing the whole time. Forney likes to put numbers up. They act like they don’t run up scores but they sure don’t try to not lol.. I’m not sure they would be ok with eating an L. Not sure their ego would allow that. Who knows what’ll happen. Maybe they play starters for a half only or not at all. Maybe Tyler just beats Forney. I think it’s all a waste of conversation, because Lancaster will take care of business. I’ll be shocked if our staff calls a good enough game to win.

It would only serve our staff right to finally put a complete game together and beat Lancaster by a TD just to have Forney let up and allow Tyler to win lol 

This is the type of game we normally go and lose by a couple of scores. I just think it would take a monumental effort from the kids and staff to get it done. Winning is one thing, but we essentially have to win by a TD for the win to even mean anything. Assuming Forney beats Cujo. Is there any chance Forney rests kids and takes Tyler lightly? Judging by how they like to run scores up on people, I highly doubt it. But it’s a possibility.

They have done what good teams eventually do. Turn it up. Especially against bums. Our secondary looked like crap against a mediocre west Mesquite team at times. I’m extremely concerned in that area.

I think it’s great too. But I also feel like that’s just another ace in the hole when it comes to excuses. “We’re teaching life lessons here, there’s more to it than football” yeah well other programs can have both and still succeed.
