Yeah that Nacogdoches boys and girls club guy is in it for the wrong reasons. I'm friends with Derek and I trust him. So I know Ken and then have the best intentions. The problem I have is that we need our own travel team that has the best kids in Lufkin on it. Not playing each other in city league. Yeah they played Nac, Diboll, Corrigan and the other little communities but we really need to be playing against kids from Houston and Dallas. I blame the parents.

I have known all week. I just wasn't going to post it but I don't wanna say to much on what else we might see tonight because of that.

What will that do? Absolutely nothing.

The current Lufkin freshmen are the kids that came up in the pineywoods league. They did not get exposed to high level football at a young age like most of our current JRs and some of our 10th graders. I could go on about the problems with that but the people around here don't care as long as their kid shines on Saturday at Morris frank park. I think we have to put our kids in a better position in youth football around here. It's more fractured then ever.Half of Lufkin is playing flag and the other half is playing in crappy equipment through the Nacogdoches boys and girls club. Don't blame Coach Quick after the next 2 years. Blame the parents for not seeing the bigger picture.

We just need a competitive game and I think we will have one.

😂 that was never my intentions. Honestly Allen is much better then Tutt but I don't wanna talk down on the kid. He is managing the Lobo offense and doing what is asked of him. He will make Lufkin pay on the PA pass if they're not careful but they not going to just let him drop back and throw without taking it.

Probably a little bit of both but I think it's probably more to do with the defense wearing down.

Just goes to show you those rankings are meaningless. Nobody in there right mind would favor JT over us right now. Longview fans seem to believe they're as good as last season. I just don't see it when you replace a WR like that and a QB that started for 3 years. Tutt is a noticable down grade and they refuse to believe it. One more day and we can stop all the talking. I just don't want any excuses. I'll own it if Longview puts it on us but if it's not will they? or will they go to the bag of excuses the usual it was more their fault then the other team. Can't wait.

I probably shouldn't have said easier. I don't think Lancaster has better coaching then AMC and I don't think there as good as they were last season. Maybe I'm off but I didn't see anything from Lancaster last season that makes me think we can't play with them again. Especially when we have a better roster and they're not quite what they're from last season.

I think Lancaster is going to be an easier game then AMC.

I'll have to try to find the highlights but the Wallace kid scored 2 TDs last week for Grand Oaks. They moved him from WR to RB. I'm working on his dad. His kid would make us the front runner next season in 5A imo.

Another thing is. When your QB can't throw the ball unless the WR is running wide open from a play fake I imagine you're going need 300 on the ground to beat us
