Lufkin comes into this game at 4-1 and 1-0 in district, while West Brook stands at 2-2 and had a BYE in the first week of district play. West brook and Lufkin have played 6 times since 1988 with a Lufkin holding 6-1 advantage, their last contest was in the 2017 in a 6A district game that Lufkin won at WB 50-7. Last week Lufkin defeated Barbers Hiil at home 32-14 in a huge district game for both teams. Beaumont West Brook was idle in their off week.
