Game Preview: DCTF has Tyler favored by +6 Tyler Coach: Rashaun Woods: Lettermen R/L: 23/25. Starters returning O/D: 5/7. 2022: 2-8/2-5 district. Players to watch: WR/DB Derrick McFall (5-11, 180, 4.4), DB/WR Zachaun Williams (6-1, 195, 4.5), WR/DB Marquette Martin (5-9, 170, 4.5), TE/DL Julian Dews (6-4, 245, 4.9). Top juniors: LB Dcanaan Sueing (5-11, 185, 4.8), LB Dcrystian Sueing (5-11, 185, 4.8). 2023 notes: The Lions have new leadership for the first time in 11 seasons, so expect an adjustment period as Tyler adapts to Woods and his system. His new team isn’t as physically strong as he expects it to be eventually, but the Lions never lack for speed. McFall (445 yards, 4 TDs passing; 218 yards, 1 TD rushing; 18-226, 1 TD receiving) can, and will, play anywhere on the field, and Williams (39 tackles) is a long, rangy athlete who understands the game and is a coach on the field. Expect Martin (5-86 receiving; 36 tackles) to be more involved in the offense this year. Dews (61 tackles) and the Sueing twins, Dcanaan (94 tackles) and Dcrystian (81 tackles) are solid holdovers on defense. cujo2002
This is going to be a good game. Cujo has to start off fast and not wait until the second half to want to start playing against teams.
