Regardless, i don’t see it happening unless HP makes a big deal about it. We should just prepare for being in district with these DFW area schools.

That’s the main reason i don’t think it happens. These are the same people that thought this was a good idea to put us in a district with FT worth teams.

Pasadena - 130 mi

Houston Spring Woods - 130 mi

Ft Bend Kemper - 140 mi

 

That district makes more sense, but Friendswood and Kemper would say no to Lufkin joining too imo. It is what it is at this point. But i hope the UIL does the right thing. Just not expecting it. If HP said something, then we would definitely get moved.

Not surprising. Galveston and Angleton didn’t want to travel to Lufkin.

Matt stepp just posted on twitter that he’s heard rumblings that we petition to be moved to 9-5A D1. Might not be true though…

I’m still shocked we’re in a district with Ft Worth teams. You gotta hope Hp fans make a big deal about this one otherwise we may be screwed in travel. Traveling through the Dfw on a Friday night is already crazy.

I'm surprised, because it’s the same number that I had only GUESSED a week ago last Friday.  That's a 40 student drop from the last realignment of 2199.

At least it’s not 6A numbers i guess
