The longer these playoffs have gone on and seeing what our district is doing and what Lufkin was able to do against these teams (except Longview) it really is a testament to the talent level we had and the talent level of this district. I know our coaching flaws hurt us, but when you say not being in this district will help us next season I’m backing that claim 100%.

Man, you know the story. A lot of them are just all friends. One big circle jerk of F’n morons running the show. I mean, let’s forget about football for a second and just think about Lufkin ISD a whole. It’s a joke. So, why do we think something is going to change with the football program when we can’t even manage the finances or discipline correctly? We nominated an idiot to be superintendent because she had been with the district for 30+ years. She wasn’t qualified and now we have BS to fix. Quick also wasn’t qualified to head coach a 5A D1 program at the time of outlaws death and Idgaf what any of y’all say. It was a bad call from the jump. Stupid. But that’s how things operate around here. When that MF’er lost back to back games to Nacogdoches he should’ve been ran out of town. That 2017 Lufkin football team was so talented it’s unreal. They were 2005 good. They Had to be to drag this bunch of dumb shyts that far. And in the end what happened? Oh, we got out coached. Lufkin was better than Longview. We left that game doing the same thing we always do after meaningful games. Questioning play calls and coaching decisions. There are truly two problems. One, we have a staff that are too close with the people who hold their fate. And two, they legit have those guys convinced we just don’t have the “talent” to do more. They think we’re playing these good teams close because of good coaching rather than losing to them because of under-utilized talent. That’s a fact. Quick will retire once he sees a wave of talentless kids coming through. That’s just too much work for him to want to go through at 62+ years old. Watch.

The girls need to start playing better non district competition. The district they are in is atrocious at volleyball and does our girls no good come playoff time. All these accomplishments for 3 years and we got beat round 2, round 2 and then round 1.
