I would agree timeout! We were 5-5 last year.  Still say we could have easily lost 3 more if not for Young.  That would have made us 2-8.   Still terrible no matter how you look at it.   Season hasn’t been over for a month and already hearing spatters of how great we could have been if this or that.     Seniors next year should give us some advantages but moving from a 5th/6th place to district champions will be tough.  Looking forward to see how the new district forms but usually LP will get screwed.  Doesn’t matter to me who we match up with in the playoffs for 1 because we seldom make it but 2 we have to beat the best to make it to the ship.

Nope.  She was hired by the school board without hiring a search firm.  I’m not sure how dr gofney was found.

Actually the search firm selects who they see as the best fit.  Since they are probably paying that firm in the area of 50k, it would be ironic if an insider is hired.  Why pay 50k to find out stephens is the best fit? But I guess that wouldn’t surprise me either.  

I believe they have hired a company to find the new superintendent.  They will make the recommendation to the school board and that person will be hired if a satisfactory deal can be worked out.

I still say lots of purple kool-aid here.  I went back and read posts from earlier in the year.  We were going to have 7-3, 8-2 year.  I read our QB better than Tutt at Longview and how we are loaded with talent.   Sorry to say but without Young we probably lose 3 more games this year at least.  Next year we still have no QB that can consistently get the ball downfield to some talented receivers.  Still won’t have an OL to open any holes for a new unproven RB.  Maybe will get some move ins?   Defense will be returning lots of starters.  This year I think their talent was pretty much over estimated also.  Big Hooper did impress me though.  The big guy up front needs to play with some of his intensity and be more dominant next year.   Needs to be an everydown player instead every other or even less.   I guess long time until next season but look forward to all the posts about how we will dominate the new district.

It’s almost like they are waiting to see other numbers so they can manipulate theirs if needed. 

Time to bring in backup QB to try and get him better.   No reason to play Hammond anymore.  

Poor?   It’s 21-6.  Both teams are terrible.  Without kedron and Murphy the score is probably closer

I’ve been watching that guy all season too and have noticed the same.   Seems like conditioning plays a role at times.

Top 3 backs in the nation?   Rivals has him at 19.  Longviews Tatum is still 3 though.
