The defense has experience returning at all three levels, but the strength will be at LB with the return of LB Edmonston (55 tackles, 7 TFL) and LB Pesina (76 tackles, 4 TFL). Junior LB Hahn (66 tackles, 4 TFL), junior DE Clark (23 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 sacks) and sophomore DT Jackson (34 tackles, 7 TFL) are young players who will form the nucleus of the defense for the next two years.
