Summer Creek has been pretty good the last two season they lost to Katy last year in the regional finals , there head came from Port Authur Memorial and he took them the state semifinals and lost to Steel . Summer is in the Humble ISD it is a lot of talent in that area 

I wonder what District will Lufkin Compete in Next Season .

My thing is this ,whenever the Head Coach position open they need to really think about not hiring within . This regime is over and out dated.

I ttotal agree with you sir , I don’t give a dam about next year Lufkin has  missed the playoffs two years in a row Quick will not hold his staff accountable. when Outlaw was living I was fortune to be on the sideline at the Woodlands game , Green called a play that was a negative play Outlaw scream at him and said if you call that play again I’m going to send you to the Bus and I will call the plays  I never saw Quick get on his coaches  maybe he is exhausted and it’s time for him to step down.

Yes I talk to Ralph Everyday , I have deep ties too the JY Family , my wife whole family graduated from Yates and my daughter , and also I'm one of the reason Ralph got that job at JY because who the people I Know but that's a long story .anyway if Lufkin come calling Ralph he wouldn't hesitate taking this job because it is home   and he is a Panther for Life just like me  he cares about this program and he hate seeing what's going .

I wonder why Galvin didn’t make the trip , But the Qb play is horrible it hasn’t been consistent in that position since for awhile now SMH 

I want our boys to compete a play well and never be satisfied we can win this game

I was wrong. to be there. My perspectives have changed quite a bit in the last several months, sometimes you find your focus is in the wrong circle. Things can happen to you in your life, or the right people speak in your ear to show one the light. This has nothing to do with how this season will turn out, it has everything to do with how I will accept to enjoy these short seasons, and appreciate more watching the effort our kids put out there each Friday night. We do not see the work that's put in by those kids in the off season to get them to the Friday nights we watch, and then evaluate, sometime harshly, and that is not fair to those kids putting in that work.  Let me emphasize that nothing is perfect in life,  none of us here are perfect , nor can we play football like these current Panther players, or did we ever?  Teams can't be winners all the time, programs are not going to stay on top forever, and coaching football is a darn hard and thankless job.  Some may say it's the nature of their job, however would you be willing to be scrutinized in your job as much as we have our coaches?  I venture to say probably not.

My career was an Electrical Projects Field Engineer, not a HS football coach. I knew and know my trade well, so I wouldn't want a Frito Route salesman to tell me how to do my work, cause I sure don't know his. You get the point, a new perspective that takes a load off my mind, to just support these Panther kids, to enjoy the football season for however it turns out. I have no doubt these 2023 kids will give it their best shot. 

Too much negativity will kill our souls, doesn't matter what it is in life. My change?, life is too short now, can't afford the time for negative thinking. Go Pack!
