PackPublius
Howdy fellers, it's been a while. I confess to takin a wrong turn around Albuquerque, shacked up with a filly near Philly, and had to make a lady holler up in the old hollar. But PackDaddy said things were gettin a little sleepy round here and maybe I'm old school but I just hate to watch a grown man weep. Plus, I've got some news for you all: We just may have a new Greatest Panther Player. Now I know many of us old timers remember watchin Dez Bryant scootin around the tumble brush and he was somethin special, sure nuff. I put down a whole Jim Beam traveler the day he meted out that Lufkin Justice to those Nacogdoches sumbritches, and can still remember him dancing into the end zone like it was a Harmistown hootenanny. But you all know that I skeedaddled to Seattle and my friends, Ja'Lynn Polk has done us proud. I watched the youngster run for a country mile against Michigan State this year, scoring half a six-shooter of TDs for the trouble. With Mike Pennis back at QB Polk is ready for a big year. I hope y'all remember to watch. Like the sun risin over Lyndon Johnson's hill country, Lufkin's Polk is shinin his light on us all.
LufkinPack
Until someone else puts a state champion banner up, Reggie McNeal is forever the “Panther” goat.

Have to agree with this. He some help, but it wasn't the most talented Panther team to come through during the era imho. There is a reason he's in the HS HOF. Playing unbelievable defense and a ball control style offense. That offensive line was absolute nails.
