LufkinPack
Lufkin has a good volleyball program, as I have a daughter currently in it. Leah started a great thing here and I hope it continues now that she’s gone, but if I had one complaint it’s that they don’t schedule hard enough non district opponents. We do really well during the regular season and benefit from a bad district then get to the playoffs and exit early.
Hitman2
I agree with you about Leah and also the fact they should have a tougher non district schedule, but this year the competition in our district is a lot tougher than it has been the past 4 years. We will probably still make the playoffs but both Whitehouse and Hallsville are VERY good. Another issue we face out of our control is that we have to play a Dallas school in the 2nd round and that is usually where things end for us. Maybe since our district is more competitive this year it will help in the play-offs. I sure hope so.
