How sad,once the greatest,or #1 city in the USA for high school football. How far we have slipped,blame it on whatever,no discipline is a big factor.No consequences for your actions anymore.Do as you want,dont worry about the princpals,teachers or the school board. If we hire,as yall know we have a Coach already,......the story continues

Well look at Carthage,just down the road.They have money,2-3 a/c buses and many other good items.Everyone says its "oil money". We dont have any money for modern revitlizations.Thank the paper mill,and Mr Glick at Lufkin Industries for all this.We have no revenue coming in,except small entities.So next time you say i wish,that burden goes to us,the tax payer.Yes i'm proud of the accomplishments we have endured.When you are top heavy [LISD],something gonna happen,you cut cut cut.Reduce spending meaning cutting the pork.If anyone needs a new field,the soccer field needs turf,they won the last championship.Im not a hater,would like Lp to succeed in all sports,but building a solar park aint it.

Not one in the book,not one has held a head coaching anywhere.I was taught,put p or shut up.We aint did none that.Had a friend call me this afternoon at work,to talk LP playoffs.I told him the situation,said they gotta go.All!Once again,and for the last time, your board is Allyston Langston,Hall Henderson,Matt Knight,Todd Skelton,Delphina Hadnot,Joe Cesar,and Krisiti Gay. Call them or go see them,they are elected officials.This is not gonna anywhere.

Need Coach Early back!Just saying,his skeams wasnt good to the fourth game,then it started clicking.Cant folks look and see why,this is happening.We cant get good coaches here anymore.I asked since day one,who they were,the coaches that is.Nobody knows all their names,ecept Green,Cook,Quicks,who is the jv coach?That is telling your kids we dont care!Hard games this year,sad for the seniors,now on to off season and spring practices for naught,no wonder these kids dont want to play.

Can we move to Nac's district with Kilgore,Henderson,and Jacksonville.Something we could be competitive in! This is sad for the boys,nothing coming,up so its been the same ole stuff for the last 5 years.Here we,same stuff for the last 5 years.Its groundhog day,over,over,over,and over,i'm dreaming.Wait till off season boys.

Look HC may not be where he belongs.Every thing was in place when Law past.It may be that is not his forte.Time to reconsider?But when 5A coaches have no or little experience tis gonna happen.I'm aware the LISD board knows what is going on.

How bout those kids that busted their asses for the last 2 years? They should have gotten better coaching,than these pretenders.Just think,i know i had 2 springs 2 seasons.They have off season,spring practice,then summer lifting,then on to beat Nacogdoches.All of that to just beat the dragons?Cause thats a highlite of the career,the last 4 years.No wonder we have 230 lbs walking the halls that can play.Thats it,they dont want to play.Remember its Skelton,Gay,Knight,Cesar,Langston and Henderson are your school board. Only 1 board member graduated from Lufkin High School.

There is other problems with attendance,also.I got my 4 season tickets,but i had rather stay at home and watch it on you tube.Can we move to 4A? Somewhere we can compete,get rid of all this overhead high salaries.Just saying i'm ready for a change.

Seen two or three players last week walking the campus,kids dont want to play on losing teams!Bring on the playoffs! I mean here for week 11.

They havent changed one dang thing,not one on special teams.How in the heck can you compete when we dont have a special team coach.Got my tickets in hand,even the spectators are going thru the motion. PA can you name the asst coaches,and what they coach, not one person i sit by,knew who they were except Cook,Quick,Green, and Simmons. Anyway we can move to 4A?

On the bright side,ex-Panthers Bug Thompson and JaLynn Polk both scores touchdowns saturday.Been while since we could say that.Who knows they coud play each other again this year,and Bug could cover JaLynn.
