But it’s still better for travel reasons imo. I don’t care about the competition part. This isn’t the past Pack teams. Regardless, i don’t see it happening unless HP makes a big deal about it. We should just prepare for being in district with these DFW area schools.

That’s the main reason i don’t think it happens. These are the same people that thought this was a good idea to put us in a district with FT worth teams.

Probably. He’s one of the best I’ve seen at the high school level and we’ve had some very good linemen here.

You gotta remember these are probably the same people that put us in this district with Ft Worth teams. Craziness. Driving through the dfw on a Thursday and Friday night from east Texas…..especially when people are getting off work too. They must hate us lol

That district makes more sense, but Friendswood and Kemper would say no to Lufkin joining too imo. It is what it is at this point. But i hope the UIL does the right thing. Just not expecting it. If HP said something, then we would definitely get moved.

Not surprising. Galveston and Angleton didn’t want to travel to Lufkin.
